Institutions participating in USA’s DUAL program are required to enter into a contractual agreement with United Space Alliance. To receive additional information regarding participation in the DUAL program, please fill out our Information Request form. Signed agreement of this contract, by authorized contracts and administration personnel, is required prior to involvement in any USA DUAL project. Specifically, USA requires agreement and approval on the following documents:

These legal documents form a blanket contract between USA and institutions participating in the DUAL program. Please note that the documents shown here are samples. At the appropriate time, USA Contracts will provide official versions of these documents. This is a one time process which establishes the partnership and, thereafter, allows the participants to bid on all future DUAL projects. The blanket subcontract is valid for a two year period and it includes an extension option, with no additional paperwork required. The terms specified in the agreements can only be changed by authorized USA Contracts personnel.

Our experience shows that discussions and preparations leading to agreements on these documents will take a minimum of two months. Therefore, if interested in the DUAL program, we encourage you to seek the active involvement of your institution's contracts, legal and administrative personnel as soon as possible.

Please also note that faculty sponsorship is a requirement for DUAL project consideration. Students who are interested in participating in a DUAL project, must have a faculty sponsor to initiate the school’s contractual enrollment process.

USA seeks support in a number of technical projects. We ask that you review these areas of interest to establish that there is a skill match between USA’s DUAL program needs and the interests and the support capabilities of your institution and its faculty and students.

Additionally, the DUAL program places a number of operational and academic responsibilities on all participating individuals. To ensure an understanding of these requirements, we suggest you read this information.

Please email DUAL with any comments, suggestions, or questions.
